In August, researchers from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) represented the INFINITE project at the 5th International Symposium on Advanced Magnetic Materials and Applications (ISAMMA) in Vietnam. Arcady Zhukov led the discussions, presenting a paper titled “Controlling Domain Wall Dynamics in Magnetic Microwires.” The presentation highlighted UPV/EHU’s recent advancements in characterizing Co-rich glass-coated microwires, key to improving the INFINITE project’s technology.
The research focuses on improving the magnetic softness and Giant Magnetoimpedance (GMI) effect, essential for optimizing material properties for aerospace applications. The Vietnam symposium allowed the team to engage with global experts in magnetic materials, offering valuable feedback and future collaboration opportunities.
