Last week, Peio Olaskoaga, the coordinator of the INFINITE project, presented the project’s progress at the DOMMINIO Project’s final workshop during the prestigious 14th EASN International Conference in Thessaloniki, Greece. The event, held from October 8th to 11th, focused on “Innovation in Aviation and Space towards Sustainability.”
Olaskoaga’s presentation emphasized the innovative use of AI and smart manufacturing solutions within the aerospace industry, aimed at improving sustainability through advanced end-of-life strategies and optimized manufacturing techniques. The conference provided an excellent opportunity for insightful discussions and engagement with aeronautics and industrial stakeholders.
The INFINITE project, funded by the European Union, continues to explore how cutting-edge technology can redefine the aerospace sector, enhancing flexibility, efficiency, and sustainability in component manufacturing.
